Do you need headphones for binaural beats

For the best result it is best to use headphones with binaural beats.

Both ears will hear both speakers and this will not give the same effect as the use of headphones.

Can you use earbuds for binaural beats

Although I have never tried them I see no reason why not.
They might not have the same noise reduction as some of the higher priced headphones, but if you use them in the privacy of your own home I do not believe this will have any negative effects.
The overall effect might be a little lower compared to regular headphones. Give it a try and let us know about your experience.

Warning about the use of binaural beats

Since binaural beats tries to replicate the cycles of the brain and it repetition of tones it is advised that if you suffer from epilepsy not to use any brainwave generator. Binaural beats or Isochronic tones.

If you have any experience with the use of binaural beats let us know and we might publish it here.
